Marianthi Zisis, 82, of Manchester, NH, died May 12, 2012, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a period of failing health.

Born in Vatsounia, Kardistsas, Greece on January 18, 1931, she was the daughter of Ioannis and Soteria (Argeros) Liolios. She resided in Manchester since 1976.

She worked at Waumbec Mills and Pandora Industries for many years.

She was an active member of The Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church.

A loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, her family was the center of her life. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and tending to her beautiful flowers.

Family members include her husband of fifty-three years, Konstantinos Zisis of Manchester; two daughters, Amalia Kostakis of Manchester and Anastacia Zisis and her husband, Dimitrios Kostakis, of Manchester; her son, Evangelos Zisis of Manchester; four grandchildren, Pano, Daylen, Maria, and Stacey; two great-grandchildren, Haley and Jordan; two sisters, Elenie Bmakoyianis, Toula Xatoutis, both of Greece; three brothers, Dimitrios Liolios of Greece, Yianis Liolios of Germany, and Costas Liolios and his wife, Theodosoula, of Manchester; many nieces and nephews.

Services: Calling hours are Tueday from 4 to 7 PM at the Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, corner of Concord and Union Streets, Manchester.

The Trisagion service will take place Tuesday evening at 7 PM in the funeral home.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 AM in the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 111 Island Pond Road, Manchester, with the Rev. Athanasios Nenes, officiating.

Burial will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Church, 111 Island Pond Road, Manchester, NH 03103 or to the Visiting Nurse and Home Hospice, 33 South Commercial St, #401, Manchester, NH 03101.
