Kevin P. Spillane, 58, of Manchester, NH, died May 6, 2012, at Concord Hospital, after a long illness.
Born in St. Albans, VT on September 19, 1953, he was the son of Philip and Janice (Bell) Spillane.
He graduated from Hartford High School, White River Junction, VT, Class of 1971, where he excelled in hockey. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in history from the University of Vermont. He was a member of the Theta Chi fraternity.
For many years Kevin was a successful entrepreneur. Until his retirement, he was president and CEO of Horizon Beverage Company for thirteen years.
Kevin was active in youth hockey in the Concord, NH area. He was an avid New England sports fan, especially of the Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed traveling.
Family members include his wife, Jean Spillane of Manchester, NH; two sons, Ryan P. Spillane of Boston, MA and Michael J. Spillane of Manchester; two sisters, Kathleen Spillane and her husband, Robert Deck, of Knoxville, TN, Mary Spillane Edgerton of Windham, NH; a brother, Philip Spillane and his wife, Mary, of Jericho, VT; two step-sons, Harry Moy, III. and Kyle Smith both of Long Beach, CA; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Services: Following cremation, a memorial celebration of his life will be held Friday from 4 to 6PM at the Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, corner of Concord Street, Manchester, NH.
The funeral service will follow at 6PM in the funeral Home.
